I accept the points about Bloor having no connection with Meriden, but in his favour I'd point out that he bought Triumph immediately it folded and straight away made it clear he was going to ressurect it....and started work on a new generation of engines....there was a lot in the UK bike press at the time about just how long he was taking to bring the machines to market but he consistently made it clear that he wanted to get the bike right, oiltight and reliable selling it to the public.
