To me the difference is Triumph never went completely out where as Indian went out in 1953 and was done for many years before the first rebirth that failed as did others until Polaris got them. Polaris just bought a long dead name.Don't get me wrong, I think they are nice but not a real Indian. You can buy a Vincent too assembled from spares but to me it isn't a Vincent.
