I don't know guys??? But my SS 6" over stock has adequate freeplay (1/2"?), I have 3-4,000 miles on it now. After reading Mike and Pat's responses, I double checked the lever end alignment and there certainly isn't constant tension. In fact I should probably snug it up a bit.

The original stock cable still fit on these buckhorns, but there sure wasn't any extra to reach the leever.
