I had my cable for a while with no problems.
I did put in the barnett clutch and springs.
Shortly after ( 40 - 50 miles ) the cable broke.
Well , the cable did not break , the barrel end in the clutch
lever pulled off.
I had it fixed at a local shop.
I also have a longer than stock cable and could not use the
stock one, even if I still had it.
