This happened in Texas, where mercy is a shadow of a dream. Here in the great nation of Tejas we prosecute, incarcerate, and make you pay for years upon release. This guy will never see the day that he is not answering to the state.
He will do between 5 and 15 years in one of our fine facilities and another 10 paying visits to one of our elustrious department of corrections officials.
He is 67 now. It is not likely he will see the day that he can walk free and clear.
