I have had the same turn outs as MuckSavage on my 2007 (I got them the spring of 2008) and with no real baffle to speak of, you need to rejet the carbs. Those you have, seem to have a baffle, so you may not be as off as I was when I changed from stock. I would still look into it. Who doesn't want their bike running its best.

MuckSavage, you can buy baffles to bolt in to those pipes. I shot flaming balls of steel wool down the highway once. I've left them empty ever since. I have considered adding the baffles, but I'm not there yet.
