Yes, it was the S7 which was problematic.....the worst was that the shaft drive to the rear wheel was by a worm gear made from ( I think) a bronze alloy which wore rapidly......but there were other problems too...including poor performance ...shame, as it was intended to be a British BMW ......a gentleman's conveyance( more like ' convenience') in UK parlance.
I chopped one once ( sorry)
