Depending on where you are landing when you come is also a factor. Old 66 is pretty long. Rt66 in Arizona is chopped up but the mile or so of it Williams AZ is super cute, with shops and places to eat. The plus for that is you catch a little train there and go to the Grand Canyon from Williams.
Funkletrumpet, I think you were with us at the Grand Canyon ride 2009 or so I think.
