I'm planning my winter time mods and will be installing a heavy duty clutch. While I'm at it I wondering if the Safe Start idler boss reinforcement would be a good idea. My bike is a 2003 with an engine number of 905JN3167051 so I believe it is in the higher risk range. Have there been many problems with cracked bosses? (Ok, here come the jokes ) Does anyone in the US carry them or do I need to order it from TTP?

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

I think TTP/Pieman is the only source so far and I click about a bit. If you got the cover off anyway, you can afford it and your bike is of the era at risk, why not do the reinforcement. IIRC, TTP s site has the at risk serial number range listed.
