C'mon people. Let's not get carried away on our biases of " I hate government" , " I hate Obama. Govt is bad, free enterprise is good.
It's been proven time and time again that corporations should not be self regulating. We need govt regulation. I agree that sometimes it can go too far, but we've seen countless instances or pollution, ground water contamination, GM paying off lawsuits because it was cheaper than a recall of exploding gas tanks, etc etc.
Triumph knows the laws and regulations, and failed to comply. Pay the damn fine and smarten up. They have compliance people whose job it is to look after that stuff.
