Good pics.

Steel on steel shoulda been pretty noisy...

Which replacement rotor did you use?

When was the brake fluid last replaced?

These days, when most people think of "impact wrench", the visual is an air or electric wrench, not cave-man style...

I used an EBC rotor from a shop I found on eBay. Direct replacement for the 07 TBA. Shipped it faster than the pads I also ordered from them.

I would hear a rubbing noise, when using the brakes. But it wasn't a metallic squeal. And there wasn't any fading, until the end, when it just didn't feel right. They always worked well in stopping the bike.

Brake fluid got replaced early last year, when I had the problems installing the Speed Bleeders. Ended up draining the whole front line and took a while & fluid to get all the bubbles burped out of her.

Yes, when I think impact wrench, that's what I was thinking. A big ol 'air wrench. Since I don't have a little air system, in my condo, I was worried I would have a problem. But the good ol'cave man impact wrench worked great. I wish my Dad was around so I could thank him !
