I know nothing about natural swimming pools,'cept the swimming hole in the creek that borders my place. I do know of two separate family residences who got into fabricated naturally balanced ponds. Both entities seem to chase imbalance problems with a bucket of money, buy special reeds, then expensive fish to balance the effects of the reeds, constant PH issues, lilly pads taking over. Then the pond expert promises your pond is close, but now you need to introduce just one more additional change and you'll find Kismet. The whole thing reminded me of owning a 20 year old medium sized boat, parked at a Salt Water marina. Throw buckets of money and time at a never ending quest to get ahead of it.
