Along with my front disk rotor, I need to replace my stock right front turn indicator lens again. I replaced it, about a year ago.
Back then, I had come out from the grocery store and found it in pieces, but no damage to the bulb. I thought maybe some PO'd motorist had hit it with their door or something.
But this time, it was sitting in my garage for a day or two. I noticed the lens had broken into multiple pieces again. So, it wasn't due to someone hitting it with anything.
Fortunately, my local dealer has one in stock and I'll pick it up this Saturday.
I don't think I am one that puts massive amounts of torque on fittings and in fact, I thought I was careful not to tighten it down too much last year. So I'm a little concerned about this. I've noticed one of the rear lens has some small cracks in it too.
Has anyone else had problems with stock signal lenses breaking apart on their own ?
I'm not really inclined to change the lights to something else.
