I had to drive to the Austin airport to pick up my wife this afternoon and had the pleasure of driving through two different dust devils. Now, these little spawns of Satan are usually easy to see and avoid because of the dust that they kick up. Not these two. They were dancing down the middle of the highway and I did not see them until I ran through them. Holy crap. I have been through these many times, but one of them blew my car across to the next lane. My question to y'all is have you ever run into one of these on your bike, and how did it turn out? This sucker would have blown a motorcycle into a ditch.

Never been in a Dust devil. Riding back from AZ a few years ago my son and I hit a dust storm in Utah. I had to shield the fuel filler to keep dust and dirt from getting in my tank when I filled up. When the day was over we felt gritty. Not fun.
