I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

Tea and Koolaide, mostly. Although, I do enjoy a Pepsi when I go out to eat.

Black coffee and unsweet tea. About once every month or two I'll swing through McDonalds and pick up a "Senior" Diet Coke for the outrageous price of 39 cents. Water only (w/fresh lemon) with food. Food is my poison. I like all the things that aren't healthy.
Alcohol? Not in about 30 years. No particular reason, no agenda, just stopped. I do make exception for the occasional sip of Communion wine.

Bourbon Woodford + Scotch Glenfiddich Whisky Vodka nah, not much but Grey Goose when I do Tequila Patron Silver Gin nope Irish Whiskey I do a wee dram oh the Jimmy, especially when my Irish former neighbor comes to visit
The underlying theme is smooth. Can't do the rougher tasting northern Scotch, etc.
And to be honest I really don't drink a lot more than Paul, just like the good stuff when I do.

I like Filberts lime soda and grapefruit soda, hard to get here though since it isn't exported and really only available in Chicago. Small family company but tastes good, they have 16 flavors.

Scotch .. Oban Gin.. Yes if British Style Vodka ..No unless it is Bison Grass infused. (I happen to have some blades on hand if anyone north of the border wants to try it) Bourbon.. Basil Hayden so far Tequila.. Anything rated Anejo (What amazes me is that this stuff at one year old costs the same as the Scotch mentioned above at 14 years old) Someone is making a huge % on this which is probably why Dan Akroid invested in Patron.

I love coffee, I love tea I love the java jive and it loves me Coffee and tea, the java and me, a cup a cup a cup boy. well slip me a slug from that wonderful mug and I'll cut a rug and end up snug in the jug. There is a hard drink I used to like, equal parts kaluah, vodka and pepermint snaps. Goes down easy, and you don't notice the full effect 'till you try to stand up.

I'm too old to much give a damn what I drink when offered to me. All I usually say now is "Cold please".
Elijah Craig 18 year old is my hands down favorite spirit. Alas, none can be found anymore, well for at least 2 years now. The 12 yr old hooch is not even worth it.
Beer when I'm buying for me? Whatever micro brew is on sale. Samuel Adams' cherry wheat is a winner. Magic hat #9 is currently in rotation. Got 90 minute IPA in the fridge too. Some pottsville brews too among other assorted brewskis. Ahh. Beer thirty.

Magic Hat #9 for this Vermonter! Also love a good dry hard cider or a red ale. Nothing too bitter like some of these "look how hoppy I can be!" micro-brews... Never been much of a hard liquor guy.
