Hey guys,

I was just wondering if it is possible in some way shape or form, to make a set of long TORs a bit louder. As in some drilling, or removing something or other. My TORs have a cone-shaped taper going from larger to smaller, as you look down the muffler from either end. The center part of the taper is a straight-through tube from the smaller end of one taper to the other. Has anyone tried to drill this tapered area on either end, or maybe take a large hole saw and try and remove one whole taper on the exit end of the pipe? Looking for a bit more noise from the stock TORs if possible. Anmyone have any experience with this?

Thanks,

Mike

Some TORS (perhaps not all) have a 3/4" (19mm) inlet restricton "washer" tack-welded upstream of the muffler body/downstream of the slip-joint. Mine did.

If yours has that restrictor & you remove it, you should be pleased with the result.

How about taking a pic of the inlet of your pipe...it should be apparent to me (& others) if it is there.

Sometimes they come out easy, sometimes not.
