No there is not an easy method by ones self. here's what I do, use a floor jack, a piece of 2x6 under the tire and wheel to slowly jack up the whole deal. Then take your other three hands and hold the spacers in place.
Sometimes it all falls right into place, but not usually.
Relax, have a beer and come back to it.
The key is to make sure nothing is at an angle.
