Yes it sure looks like a Honda engine, but with Amal carbs.
The picture was an addition to a write up on the new street triple models. I would not class it as a street tracker style either more a Thruxton replacement.

Okay Stephen(you "superfluous u user" you ), tell me which Vertical Twin Honda from back in the day sported that triangle shaped head and those spayed out exhaust headers like all Triumph Twins(INCLUDING our machines) did and do, huh?! Nope, as I recall, the CB350 had flat sided cylinder finning and the CB450 had rounded cylinder head finning back in the day.

And, tell me which old Honda model had that little flair thing coming off of the lower end primary side crank cover and just as Triumph pushrod twins did back in the day, huh? None, RIGHT?!

(...MAN, I can't believe I'm now having the same disagreement with YOU as I did with Ian and before HE now has seemed to have had his little epiphany here!!!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
