It's important that the bulbs face out from the bike in the direction you want to have them seen from and that they be the same color as the lens on the bike (unless the lens is clear that is.) I had to do some surgery on the housing to make that happen. I also bought some red lenses for the rear turn signals and some red led bulbs for them.

I also bought the universal triple play module http://www.customdynamics.com/tailconversion_kit.htm This allows rear turn signals to function as running light, brake light and turn signals and has a built-in 10 pattern brake modulator for center tail light or turn signals or both during brake light operation. Full-Contrast blink function allows blinker lamps to blink from OFF to FULL BRIGHT for maximum visibility.

So I have three very bright LED tail lights, VERY bright turn signals and three VERY bright brake lights that flash 3 times when I hit the brakes. All together it cost me about $230 but I figure that one rear end collision avoided makes them well worth it.

The signal minder SM1 flayer unit/ signal canceller will do something very similar but will cause your front turn signals to flash too.

If you go with LED Bulbs you will need to have a $7 diode kit to put into the single bulb turn signal dash indicator because otherwise the cross talk will cause ALL the LED turn signals to flash. It takes about ten minutes to install. http://www.customdynamics.com/loadequalizer.htm

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
