I posted this over on the Rat as well, but this has been so helpful that I wanted to post it here for you guys too.

I wanted to share a link that has been shared before, but it has been so useful to me, and I've seen other threads regarding oil changes and etc...that if you need a stand/lift you should spend the 30 minutes and build one for yourself.

This has made an oil change a breeze, chain service simple, brake and wheel work smooth. I use it when I wash and polish as well because everything is so much easier with a stable level bike.

It was really simple to build and everybody else who sees it thinks I'm a genius for coming up with it...I "usually" tell them I found info for it online.

This is just a simplified version of a dirt bike lift that has been available as long as I can remember. They are used for racing bikes that have no kickstand.

Thanks for the link. This lift pops up every couple of years in one config or another. Good update for many of the new fellows. Appreciated.

Greg's right... it's worth mentioning this stand just in case there are members that haven't heard about it. I use one and wonder what I'd do without it.
