It's not just the cagers you have to watch out for. I was riding through town on the interstate with my wife in our 3/4 ton truck a couple of weeks ago. We were in the far left lane and just as she signaled to change into the middle lane, two crotch rockets passed us on the right doing well over 100mph. If it had been about a second later they would have both been in the back seat with my kids.
