Is lane splitting allowed in counter flow traffic or just in one direction? I remember doing lane splitting in Europe on two lane roads in heavy traffic and no one honking. Of course one must watch out for the other bike coming in the opposite direction. Makes so much sense in heavy traffic cities ala L.A.
