Mark, I read your post about this incident in one of the other forums...I understand how scary it must have been...and if you've had a couple of other close shaves or near-mishaps, no doubt you'd be wondering if there was a message in there somewhere...I can't tell you yes or no to that, but my overall feeling is this...you've got some riding skills, my friend...while I believe the hand of God intervenes at times, I also believe our lives are in our hands sometimes...you showed good riding technique and common sense entering the curve, and THAT contributed to saving your a$$...you reacted well and maintained control in a panic situation...THAT also contributed to saving your a$$...YOU deserve credit for that...so have confidence in your skills...saddle up and ride again right away, before the uneasiness takes it's toll on you...be careful, be wary, always expect the unexpected...but don't give up riding unless you're absolutely sure it's not for you...don't be intimidated...
