Do you know of anybody doing this to one of our engines? I know for a fact a decent condition timing chain would readily absorb the slack of 0.5mm, but can you still get a seal on the external Chrome downtube on the front of the jugs? Seems like about 65% of the time I change things like that, there is an unexpected underlying issue I have to resolve along with it. But if it's doable without a lot of fuss, THAT'S A GREAT IDEA!
