ditch_dr, the problem is that cell phone companies are not marketing to you and me. They design and build products for the younger crowd. I know this because I work for Motorola and I see the focus of their efforts on a daily basis. The drive is to pack as many voice, data, & media related features into the smallest package that is ergonomically feasible. Hence, all the crap we see. You will never again be able to purchase a simple cell phone. btw, the market is eating this stuff up! Case in point, check out the
