So I was looking for a small saddlebag for my WideGlide and I did not want to relocate the side mount license plate and rear lights like Harley's saddlebags require. The search was on for one small bag that fits tight on the left side between the shock and plate mount without support. I found this American made thick leather bag by La Rosa Design. I know this is specific and most of their descriptions include H-D fitment but look around their site La Rosa makes quite a diverse selection of quality and unusual design saddlebags. LINK

It's a great looking bag, outerbanks, and fits the bike nicely! Ended up with another solo bag for my Speedmaster, but I was real close to getting that one.

Thanks TriumphLance. Same here, I came real close to getting the Badgcustoms bag. Ironically Badgcustoms is right here in Virginia about a 45 minute ride from home but their actual store only opens by appointment and at the time I wanted to buy the bag they were going to be unavailable for a week. From what I've heard it takes about 3 weeks to get them to ship an order. But they make great bags and it looks great on your Speedmaster.
That's why I posted this about LaRosa (and your BadGcustoms) these companies design them for Harleys but they certainly fit and look good on other cruisers. When I had my Triumph America I went through a couple of different styles trying to find ones I liked.

Measurements in inches Max length (at top) 11.5 depth 12 width 5
The bag comes with 3 leather buckle straps. 2 attach to the fender support and the lower to the belt guard (on my bike). It is thick leather and holds it's shape fine when empty but does not have a rigid plastic back plate. This bag is also available in less expensive synthetic "pleather" so be careful when ordering. On my bike the fender supports are painted gloss black not chrome so I used a piece of clear thick urethane film the kind used on the front of cars for rock chip protection. It keeps the leather from rubbing and marring the paint, you cant see it and it's easily removed.
Sorry it took so long to get back.
Nice thing about this bag is it has a lot of extra height capacity. The top flap and strap are separate and both have extra length so stuff sticking out the top is covered and secured.
