Keith you are so right. Interesting enough when the dealer brought in the Triumph line two years ago I had a long conversation with the sales manager about my history of ownership,the many friends I know who own the brand and service in general.
I told him a lot of owners felt Triumphs service departments were lacking in knowledge and quality techs. He promised their goal was to do the best job they could to make sure the service team was a quality team and not just tire changers.

When my problem came up I let it play out. I didn't get pissed and start acting like I was entitled to something keeping in mind I've probably never spent more than 300 dollars total in the dealership.
I suppose he felt they needed to make a statement and they have! Here's hoping they get it right as this is a job they or most dealerships don't do very often I'm sure. There're shooting to have it back to me on Saturday the 9th and I'm heading to Birmingham on Wednesday.
