The symptom of a CDI going out is having no symptoms. Makes no sense hunh ? Exactly. A CDI is a very fickle thing. Runs fine on a sunny day, craps out on a cloudy day. Won't start on days beginning with a "T". Lots of electrical stuff ( Besides a short) is predictable and may have a pattern. A CDI going out has no real pattern.
