It's 8am here in the UK, 3 hours until I pick-up my new (to me) bike and I'm a little excited!!

It's a 2003 America with every accessory the poor old thing can carry, all of which will stripped and be up for sale by this afternoon I'm a less is more type.

I'm based in the UK in North Devon and love forums and am a born tinkerer, I love rallies and meet ups so looking forward to any this part of the world.

I best get my confession out of the way........I have a HD bobbed sportster in the garage too.

Well I'm a few days in and 50 miles under my wheels and loving it!

If I give you all some background I bought the bike through a friends shop, although they had taken it in as sale or return not purchased it to trade.

My mate who runs the sales hadn't even seen the bike and there was no paperwork with it when I took interest. I cut a cheeky deal which was agreed with the owner and I asked for any paperwork he had. Paperwork duly arrived to find a FDSH, remap paperwork with o2 sensors removed, every MOT, all the manuals and what looks like every receipt - very pleased.

Goes like a stabbed rat!

Well Del, if it's a 2003 you won't have to worry about remapping or o2 sensors, because it's carbureted. Nonetheless, nice score and welcome to the forum!
