Not mine, but this batwing and bag combination is growing on me.

would imagine if you loaded up that top box and a bit more on the rack that the front would get pretty light, still a fat pillion might fix that not my style though.

that honkin' big bag setup on the luggage rack just throws the entire thing out of whack

How does one get on that thing? Is it actually a motorcycle??? If you like it that's all that counts but I guess you put it on here to get others opinions... is the nicest thing I can say about it.

I almost did. The Road King was running a close second when I bought the America in '06. The HD salesman telling my wife that she'd have to practice pulling up her shirt sealed the deal.

BTW, I do not like the trunk either, but I do like riding behind a batwing on the highway. There were some BA.com attempts to do this a few years back and the Tsukayu bags are pretty common. I liked this batwing's quick detach option.

Remember; I'm old. I rode dirtbikes until all the dirt around here was turned into gated communities. I've gone through the sportbike phase of using my testicles as shock absorbers (we called them cafe racers), speeding tickets and sore wrists. But I'm not so old that I want to spend my golden years pushing a barge around (I sold the Gold Wing). Now, I just want to ride in peace and comfort, but still be able to hit the twisties a bit to keep my blood from congealing.

Well, I don't like all the crap on this bike. And I mostly HATE batwings. Still, I feel ya, dude!

Other than the trunk, which to me looks too large for the bike, I think it looks good.

If I was a traveler I would appriciate the trunk but I'm not anymore so it really does nothing for me in the usefull sense. Really like the hard bags and batwing and if you find that the batwing dosent affect Handleing in crosswind let us know. I have heard that some bikes are terrible but not heard anything about ours.

ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!

That trunk just ruins it. Unfortunately it needs to be that high for he bags to open. I wish they would change those bags to a side opening vs the flip up style.
I always did like the fairings.

They make a side hinged bags as well. I have seen a few, and keep my eyes open for those. my lady complains that the hinge rubs the back of her legs.

I think the Blue bike would be just grand if you pulled off that GIANT rear box. Yes the Bat Wing looks like a Harley, but the bike weighs in about 300Lb.s lighter. It's all good !!
