Not all tire brands are exactly the same dimensions, regardless of similar numbers. Different width rims effect that to a degree as well. I do not remember what size nomenclature Keith put on his early America, except that he was stuck going with the size to get the whitewall he had his heart set on, and he had to add his extension plates to get the tire to safely clear. I tried one of those Kenda Cruz tires, they wear well, but I found them kinda scary in the rain. Hard durometer compound?
