[Actually I'm too crippled up to do much work on my bike these days, opposed to days gone by]
I had my mechanical geniuses, genii?[there's two of them]do the valve shim check at 30,000ks and they were all in spec.and that's when one of them told me there seemed to be no discernible wear on the engine.That made my day.
Interesting what you describe though.Could be a problem in years to come but as you say,someone like Pieman,or maybe BC customs will hopefully come up with a solution.
