You can actually just ride the gunslinger seat without the release bolt in. [...] But if you get the seat the bolt is cheap enough to buy you may as well get one.

I got the bolt/stud/post or whatever it is called.. took it off because it was in the way when installing the Corbin. Threw it in a zip-lock bag and kept it along with the original seat. When I purchased the bike, I also got the touring seat and sissy bar/rack, which really looks funky with the gunslinger seat... not too bad with the touring seat... but looks pretty darn good with the Corbin seat and pillion.

Wasn't really looking to sell them; just had a friend who is thinking about getting an America, and he asked me if they were compatible. I wasn't sure, which is what prompted my query.
