I was wondering if anyone uses a cap that has a gauge built into? If so which One? Is it Accurate? Got any Pics?

As far as I know there is nothing available for our bikes. The Kuryakyn gas gauge won't work and I've never seen anything else. There was talk a while back that some one was trying to make one but I never saw another post on the subject. Most folks just reset the odometer when they fill up. I try to gas up between 130 and 140 miles.

I look to hit reserve somewhere over 140 on the trip meter. Figure I have 40 left and I'm looking already. Assumed range of 170+, and I have seen that a couple of times. In town, knowing I'm in sight of a gas station.

I know that I need to hit my reserve at exactly 130 but my 3 year old just noticed that the trip meter is really fun to twist around.

Sounds to me like you need to fill up every time you leave the house, just to make sure...!

I usually hit my reserve at 115-120, but it's mostly around town riding. I'm not too sure of the odometer accuracy as I know the speedo is off.

I generally hit reserve at 138-140. But I am thinking about a locking cap, with the price of gas. People who are desperate, will steal it from anything especially in Fla.I have heard of people stealing from riding lawn mowers at night.
