All over Canada 5 dollar notes are being "Spocked." A local bar offers to vulcanize your drink (make a single into a double) if you pay with a with a Spocked 5er.
Live to love, love to live.

Nope, it's real.
The Bank of Canada has pleaded to not draw a Spock figure on the $5, but people are doing it anyway... and I think it's cool!

Why is Leonard Nemoy on your 5er anyway?
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

So Paul, then kind'a like how when I was a young man, it was automatic for me when introducing myself to others to say, "That's 'Dwight', like Eisenhower. Remember that and you'll never forget my first name!"
And NOW DAYS of course, I have to make SURE the person I'm introducing myself to looks AT LEAST 40 years old, 'cause if they're not, then HALF the freakin' time they have NO freakin' CLUE who 'Dwight Eisenhower' WAS!!!
(...what DO they teach these freakin' kids in school today, HUH?!...certainly not HISTORY!!!!)

Well Wade, seein' as how one of the soldiers fighting the Krauts under his command WAS named "Dwight Argo SENIOR", I suppose there MIGHT BE an outside chance the old Supreme Allied Commander/President COULD have used that line during introductions back in the day.
(...however, Pop never mentioned actually ever meeting Ike, and so it's probably very doubtful Ike would have known my father and thus used that line when meeting people for the first time)
