If my day-date planner is correct , it was 10 yrs ago today that Hunter S. Thompson expired.... he had a way with words..  " love is the feeling you get when you like something as much as your motorcycle"

I thought Sonny Barger said that?Anyway,TEN years?Boy oh boy, were did that go?It seems like no time at all since I heard the news of his death!

Well , HST wrote a book about the Hell's Angels and would have ridden with Sonny so he may have picked that saying up from him....... HST was a very interesting dude... think he picked up the use of the word GONZO from "Uncle Ted" or Nugent got it from him....the world a plagerism

Hard to believe it's been 10 years.
Still enjoy reading some of his stuff and immediately think of him whenever I see a Vincent.
