Howdy folks!!! I'm going to start making a 90-mile round trip ride to/from work when the weather warms a tad. I will be installing some driving lights to increase my visibility whilst on the super slab. I have an idea how I want to mount them, but am not 100% set on it. I would be very interested to see pics of how other folks have mounted theirs. If you have put some drivers on your bike, could you post a pic of them? Much Appreciated.

I have two light bars, one I use with the windshield, and the other is a cut down stock bar with P-clamps to hold the lights. I used 6 pin connectors and wired each one so they could be easily swapped out with a disconnect under the triple tree. Without windshield the lights are closer to the headlight by a good 2-3 inches

I used the factory light bar, but like Dave, I didn't like the wide spread of the lights. I took the easy route and just drilled another hole about 1 1/4" inboard of the original and mounted the lights there. Better than before. On another bike, I picked up a small LED floodlight (about 2" x 2") from Harbor Freight and mounted it to the lower fork leg. It doesn't have a beam pattern that helps me, but it does make me more visible without blinding oncoming traffic. Similar to this, but less money and probably China made. http://cdn1.bigcommerce.com/n-yp39j5/t5q...451.416.jpg?c=2

Some of the new Cree LED lights are pretty strong without taxing the electric system too much.
Worth checking out.

I went for the minimalistic approach and got a pair of Kuryakyn Silver Bullets with the fork mounts, replaced the halogens with LED's, wired hot with key on, switch on console to turn off. Really cool.

i used OEM light bar and cut 1" off each end, re-drilled the hole and mounted them factory otherwise. looked a bit better closer together.
