we're already looking at around 14 participants for this years rally

Dave, do you have a PayPal that we can send you money to?

I certainly do, it is bernimac28@yahoo.com
no money needed at this time, a deposit has been made but we can start to square up in another month or two...

the lodge does have a gas grill out back, so I might be persuaded to cook up some steaks again

If anyone wants to book a room separately from the lodge, there are other rooms in other buildings at the same location. Chances are looking good that the lodge I have booked will be full, especially if some of you guys are going to be bringing your wives. If you want a bit more privacy at night, here's a link to the Homestead Lodge, with rooms that are currently available

http://www.kinderhooklodge.com/homestead/

Looking at the lodges site provides little information on the layout of this place (part of the room links are unfinished). What exactly are we looking at for the group? As there appear to be several buildings, which one are you looking at and what is its capacity? layout? dorm style? barracks?
the reason I ask is to determine if I do need to make separate arrangements. It looks like it is going to be a decent sized group so things may fill up quick.
thanks

Hey Eddy, if you're doing shirts put me down for a 2X.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

I have booked the Buckridge lodge. I'm thinking there will probably be a shortage on beds, and honestly I'm kind of planning on bringing either a cot or an airbed and throwing it in one of the rooms. I could probably get the bigger building they have, (Haven Lodge) but without a definite headcount and triple the price of the lodge I already got, unfortunately it's not a gamble I want to take.

Same location, different building. Kinderhook is the whole facility, Buckridge is one building there, Haven is another, Homestead is the biggest with some rooms available and is the main building.

Hey Dave,
It says on the page that the Buckridge accommodates 16 people. Guessing that there are a few double beds and some singles, pull out couches, etc. Can they give you an idea of the lay-out?

Dave, I'll be coming in that Friday, solo.....my bride can't make it. Should I book a room, or will there be a bed for me at the lodge?

there are beds available, as long as you don't mind sharing a room

here is the lodge I booked, the entire building for the weekend http://www.kinderhooklodge.com/buckridge/

I thought about doing some fishing when I'm down there. Is the Master Baiter cabin still available? There'd just be one of us.

So right now I'm taking 100 dollar reservations for the beds, the price may fluctuate a bit depending on how many reserve. Want to sleep in a recliner for a cheaper weekend? PM me. Want to bring a cot or an air mattress and pay less for the weekend? PM me. There is always the option to contact the lodge and reserve your own room in another building, within staggering distance of rally central for after happy hour. http://www.kinderhooklodge.com/

I'm gonna have to punt on this rally. I might not even be back from my ride through Canada by the date! If I am, I'll be really broke. (I hope) Still, I will probably be able to ride down Saturday to ride with ya and touch base. My son was also planning on being there, but he is will also just be coming off a vacation to Colorado, so I doubt he will make it.Look at it this way; A half of Richard is better than NO Richard. And, this way, my Indian won't be there to steal all the glory from you palefaces on Fridays ride!

the US dollar is way good against the Canadian dollar now, you should be coming back with more money that you left with!
