Have been searching for spokes for my 07 TBA for some time now. Did find a decent set of spokes from a 98 thunderbird. Does anyone know if they will work on my bike?

Should fit, isn't a straight (non sport) T-Bird/Adventurer front rim 2.5" wide? America s run 3.5 wide rims on the front. I was wrong, the front wheel/rim is our size, it's the back rim that is narrower. I had to look it up.

You should get a caveat with the seller that you have the right of return, if things go wonky. Triumph made so many versions of the same bike with the same basic powerplant in the 90s and early 2000s. Many of the early parts crossover or are adaptable to the Bonny variations, you may need to go to a 530 pitch chain with their proper sprockets to use the rear hub, who knows? Get a caveat. I will sell you a Thunderbird Sport front hub or a complete wheel for a fair price, I know they fit and function, but the TBS stock rim is 3.5 x 17", so if you want to run a stock America sized tire, you're buying spokes, Speedmaster or TBS forks, lacing/truing fee and a 18" rim. Be patient and search EBay every day, as well as post a want ad at Rat.net and here and you will get a plug and play conversion which is your safest bet.. A lot of America owners went to the mags for the tubeless advantage and the easier clean up, so don't get discouraged, there are plenty of unmounted America wheels around.. web page web page

Ryk that link is actually the one I have been looking at (the TB spokes are gone). I can't understand this seller though he's selling a true straight rear wheel for $199 but, selling a wobbly front wheel for $299??????
The search continues

Seller is from Oregon, weird and proud of it. They even have a popular bumper sticker, "Keep Oregon Weird".

With a 17" rear, I can't imagine any America rider pining away for a 18 or 19 tooth front sprocket, unless every direction you went was downhill. With a 200/70-16 Avon Venom rear, I ended up going with a 16/43 sprocket set, so my Speedmaster would accelerate as I was used to. At 1000 RPM in first gear using 16/42 s my bike was a little too high geared to be comfortable in stop and go as well as in parking lots. It's good there are choices available or I would have serious builders remorse going the Phat tire route. The bike has to end up being comfortable and safe in all aspects or some more changes are in order.

I have a 4.5" wide Tiger 17" wheel with a 160/55-17 tire. I forget my sprockets now though, but I think the overall circumference is now less than original.
