This was told to me by a friend(Dave)

Vehicles:Lambretta & Ford Granada (a Sweeny style car)
Dave pulls up to traffic lights in the Ford Granada behind a lambretta all "modded up" with wing mirrors & crome sticking out from the front
(Quadrophenia style)
The lights change and the "Mod" fails to set off.- As quick as a flash Dave "beeps" the horn at him.
The lambretta driver looks into one of his many mirrors and casually flicks the "v's" (similar to the bird) and drives off slowly.
Dave for some reason had a starter gun in his glove compartment and as he was driving,passed it to his passenger, who proceeds to lean out of the window and take aim at the "mod"
Dave told me you should have seen the mods face change (through his many mirrors) as the gun took aim and when he fired ...well this mod was weaving from side to side, dodging the blanks, believing he was dodging real bullets!
Dave always ends this parable by saying - Im not sure what actually happened to the mod, but I bet he went straight home for a new pair of underpants and to break his 2 offending V fingers!
