Hi, Some of you will remember me (Kent1969) I tried to log back in with this but no luck hence the new tag. Have been through the wringer with 25 year marriage break up, laid off my job 8 weeks later and then forced to sell my home on Bribie Island. I had a really bad patch and to make things worse I had a mid life crisis and sold my America to a cousin and bought a 08 Low Rider!!! Had it for 10 months- cost a fortune in repairs and liked to ride in the back of a truck more than on the road!!! Traded it in for a 2015 America which is sitting in the garage. One thing that did go right in all my troubles was that I managed to find excellent homes for my two bull terriers. The alternative was to terrible to even think about-sure Ian can relate to that!! Anyway I hope you all have a great year and Tbh I am very glad to see the last of 2014. Already past the first service with the bike and have quite a few bike runs on the calendar so she will be getting some more up soon. Retired on the age pension now so have got the time!! Trump is the new Mosella Red and has been named Ruby! Cheers. Kent

Welcome back, funny thing is to me the worst of all that happened to you was having to find the dogs new homes. I hope I never am without a job either. Been through quite a few women, hurts for a bit then goes away but the dogs I have lost I still miss.

Welcome back, Sounds like your last year would make a good country and western song! They are doing the 2015 Americas in red eh? You'll have to post pictures when you get a chance. At least you had two wins.You found a good home for your dogs and you got a Triumph America again!  Edit. I looked it up and see the red colour.It looks good, but I'm sorry that there's not a blue option anymore.

Great to see the familiar names again. Thank you for the replies and kind comments. On that note Paul Lady luck might be swinging my way as have met a girl that I now live with. Tracey had nothing to do with motorcycles when we met. Taught her to ride and she passed her licence first go. Now owns a 2013 GV250 Hyosung, carries her own swag to bike runs and keen to do some long distance rides. The little 250 is quite a amazing little bike and will cruise at 110k all day even with the screen I have fitted for her. Just fitted a small bike stereo system to it for her on the long runs . Could not believe how economical it is to run with fuel- on long trips takes about half the fuel the trump does at the same speed. We are headed to Murrundi in NSW for the Viet Nam vets run in early Feb so looking forward to that. LOL! Just have to stop Trace giving the fingers to large Harley Riders and we should get there ok!
