Sorry Steve, but I don't quite get the reason for what appears to be your "disgust" with the old starship captain's venture here?

I mean yeah, so maybe he called the vehicle he's having built for himself a "motorcycle", and which of course it's not...it's a TRIKE. And yeah, so it's going to be some kind'a outrageous trike, but then again isn't that new Slingshot trike pretty outrageous too? Well, I think it is anyway.

(...and besides, you at least have to give the 83 year old fart credit for his plan to ride..okay DRIVE that thing the complete length of Route 66, Chicago to L.A., doncha?!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

He does do a lot of that! I watched a couple of episodes of him remodeling his house. After that, I'll be okay if I never see him again.

Depends on whether or not they build him a "bubble", Dwight. And I doubt very seriously whether he'll be alone for the ride. There'll be so many documentary support vehicles that he'll do maybe 100 miles a day. I guess the big turnoff for me was the comic book styling.

But, his money - his choice. We'll see if anything comes from it.

Oh yeah, I'm sure of that...the whole "cameras will be rollin' the whole way" thing, that is! And, your thought about the "bubble" definitely comes into play here too of course, and that if that's done he won't be out in the elements.

Still however, I think it's kind'a cool that the old egomaniac actor is still out there making his presence known.

(...this is where I have to admit I always liked the big ol' ham!!!)
