I usually get confused with the whole liter vs. gal thing (you know, public educated and everything), but I did some figuring. 9.5 US gallons of gas at $1.75 per gal. is $16.63. The same amount in liters is 35.96 liters x .70 per liter is $25.17. That's still pretty high. I guess I am lucky that there are lots of oil refineries in my state. We have cheap gas but we pollute the world.
