Sweet! Just yesterday a friend of mine, Mason, bought a 848 evo. Crotch rockets (a handful of them anyways)... are stunningly beautiful. I asked Mason if he's done the one wheel thing as he just rode it home yesterday from Melbourne to Cape Canaveral. Yes and no he said. Without trying the front wheel lifted...lol Smart kid. Ground floor with SpaceX.
Congrats to Dani on her new bike! Can't wait to see y'all this May!

Dang, another year and I'm working all weekend, this year I'll be in Texas.

I've made a partial day exactly twice so far. Only twice. In eight years. But I did get to see you ruin a back tire at Two some years ago. So I rarely show up. While you guys are carving up Wolf Pen or Blood Mtn. I will be working at AT&T Stadium as my boss is the main support act for Kenny Chesney. I expect to see stellar libation consumption that day so it won't be too different...

Wednesday 13th-14th.
I'm debating coming to Ga. before the museum, or just joining the group there.
I haven't seen or heard anything about where anyone is staying, so I haven made arrangements yet either.
I have a wedding to attend in Austin on the 9th, after that, I'm off two weeks. Might make more sense to meet in Bama, then return to Ga. With the rest of the party.
Heading to Texas Hill Country April 23 - that'll be a great warm up. I'm sure looking forward to this!

Anyone booked a motel in Leeds, Al for the Barber trip? I'm thinking I'll blast down the slab Wednesday and meet the crew up at Barber. Spend the night, then on to Dahlonega Thursday.
While I'm asking, anybody booked a room in Dahlonega?
Whatyall thank?

I haven't, not that I haven't started to a time or two...was just waiting to hear what the museum plan was. Definitely thinking motel, though. I got's gadgets to recharge at night. Suggestions? Anybody happen to know if that's the same weekend the college graduation takes place? That might influence room availability....

Leaving D town Wednesday the 13th at 0800 traveling by slab and arriving at Barber somewhere around 1200. The museum closes at 1800 so that gives us 6 hours or so there. Stay in Bham Wednesday night at the Quality Inn at 3910 Kilgore Memorial Drive and after breakfast Thursday, head home via back roads arriving late Thursday afternoon.
Sorry I haven't sorted this out earlier

I'll meet up with the crew At Barber in Birmingham Wednesday for the tour. Then on to Georgia through Sunday morn.
Probably staying at Two Wheels or High Valley in Suches, GA the rest of the week. Looking to split the cost on those sleeping quarters.

I'm booked at Two Wheels in Suches Thur/Friday/Saturday. Two man twin bed cabin $61.60 per night total with taxes. So if we can spit the rates that's a super deal. Includes bed linens and heater. Call Mary @ 706-973-1671 tell her you want cabins 6-7 or 8. those are the new cabins. Camping as well for those inclined for $15.00 This is about 30 mins from Chy's place. TWO

As I write this, I'm booked at the Quality Inn in B'ham two nights - Tuesday and Wednesday. Not exactly sure when I'll leave here, but I'll have time, and if I do right, I can get a good night's sleep there Tuesday night and hook up with y'all Wednesday at Barber.
I'm also booked at the Quality Inn in Dahlonega Thursday night through Sunday. Nothing I can't "undo", but I made my reservations last weekend just to have something in place.
As we get closer to it, and learn more about who's coming or not.....

I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone at Two Wheels, so booked a room at the Super8 in Dahlonega Thur, Fri & Sat nights to be sure I had a place to stay. If anyone is still looking to split a cabin, let me know. I should be arriving Thurs evening. Looking forward to seeing everyone again, Will
