The Triumph bags are made of a composite leather pressed leather flakes similar to the way cardboard or OSB is made. I've had them before, and after a while they start to crack and tear at stress points. For what those things cost they should be made of premium thick real leather.
Get you some hard mount bags like Viking for half the cost.
