I was wondering if there are better sounding pipes where you would not have to remap. The bike performs great and I don't want to change the map, but was just wondering if I could get a better exhaust note. I don't want to do a baffelectomy; I just want to slip on a new exhaust. Is it possible to get a better sounding pipe without a remap?
When I lived in the Harley world, the wisdom was you could replace the pipes alone and there would be no need to remap. I've searched around, and it doesn't appear to be that way in the Triumph world - it seems like you would have to do a remap if you don't want your gas mileage, performance or pipe color to change. But I thought I would ask to see if anyone has done this.
