I have had a Shorai Lithium Iron battery in the Tiger since 9/2013, with zero issues and haven't put a charger on it yet. For the Tiger it is very important you have a good strong battery, or damage to the engine could result. When I start the Tiger you think the engine is going to jump out of the bike, compared to the way the OEM battery worked.
