The Scrambler Ducati, Base model, is $500 less than the Triumph Scrambler. (not to mention 16 more HP and 97 lbs lighter) Now, there are those who say that the Duc is ill-equipped for 'Scrambling'. I contend that most who buy this bike have no intention of Scrambling. It's like when I got my wife a 'Trail Rated' Grand Cherokee. She isn't going off-roading. We decided on it for a variety of other reasons...
