I have had good luck doing tanks the old school way with plumbers acid, 50-50 solder and a old fashioned soldering copper. The metal fit up is crucial. If you test with air and soapy water, you know you sealed it. Radiator shops have the rubber plugs needed to do the pressure test, FYI. BTW, no metal warpage to fool with solder.
