Well, riding season is almost over here. Did not ride nearly as much as I wanted to. So I think about the things I'd like to do or get done to my 2009 America between now and April.

I wanted to post some of my ideas and ask for any comments, wisdom, commentary, so forth. Please do not hold back.

Speedmaster front fender. I notice the fender bracket part number (#1394996) is the same for the America and Speedmaster, but I really prefer the look of the smaller Speedmaster fender. I wanna get a Speedmaster fender up front, and may as wll do the front brakes while I am there, and take off the lower shrouds, put on frork gaiters (#A9638018). Thinking about what else I can or should do w/ the front wheel off, as in (preventative) maintenance.

I have wanted a center stand since I got the bike. It is time. Any other suggested other things to do while down there?

I think I am going w/ the Nology Silver Spark Plugs. Anyone tried or heard anything about them? All I recall hearing about expensive plugs and wires is that they make no to barely perceptible differnce. For 15$ extra a pair, I figure why not. Ditto the Nology Hotwires.

It is time for a K&N air filter too.

FWIW, I have the TORs, and snorkel removed, and have a pronounced pop on deceleration.

I have not seen anyone mention the Spiegler stainless steel brake lines on here. My concern is the the finish and how it deals the other parts it may rub up against. Anyone have any experience w/ the Spiglers?

Any of course, wrap the exhaust headers.

My OEM headlight blows. Maybe they get weaker over time. Time for a PIAA H4 60/55W SUPER PLASMA.

All of this on a 2009 America w/ only 16,000 miles.

Considering the Nology Profire High Performance Ignition Coils (152001060T).

After all that, I think I will get the 18,000 mile service done in March or April, and start _finally_ getting serious about TuneECU and Progreessive 444 shocks (444-4214B, black).
